Neda gets up in the morning
Neda pulls a scarf around her hair
Neda in her yellow converse
Neda meets her father there
In Revolution Square
In Revolution Square
In Revolution Square
Neda says I love you Mother
Neda sings a chant for Freedom
Neda dreams in lovely colors
Neda feels so hopeful there
In Revolution Square
In Revolution Square
In Revolution Sqaure
Neda takes a bitter bullet
Neda’s eyes are shining then fade away
Neda’s blood cuts right to it
Neda shows us why we pray
Neda raised a voice for truth
Found her freedom but she lost her youth
Neda left a stain that can’t be washed away
Neda put us all right there
In Revolution Square
Nice harmonies on the third verse!

Wow. That is amazing. I really like it. Demo, shemo. The production is perfect just the way it is.

Your voice is strong for one that's gone. I love what you're doing with this post. With tears streaming down my cheeks it's clear that BlogInSong is an art that exists at the intersection of news of the day and political comment to inform in the same way my husband turns to comic strips for a clue to headlines circulating around the world. You've captured in song the heart wrenching struggle of the Iranian demonstrations. Thank you for giving life to Neda's death.

Wow. Incredibly beautiful song, Camille. I played it three times and only had to stop 'cause I was getting too sad for Neda, Iran and humans in general. Everyone should hear this.
